Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior IT Accountant:

Manage and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements.

Review financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Perform financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the business.

Prepare and review annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring correct booking of TDS/GST in Oracle financial systems.

Develop and implement company-wide economic policies and procedures.

Provide timely and actionable financial information to business leaders and key stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory reporting requirements in India and internationally.

Support the preparation and presentation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Contribute to the overall financial health and operational stability of the organization.
Required Skills for the Senior IT Accountant:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Proven experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and supporting SEC and regulatory reporting.

Strong understanding of TDS, GST, and Indian financial compliance regulations.

Experience working with Oracle or other enterprise financial systems.

Demonstrated ability to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Strong skills in account reconciliation and resolving financial discrepancies.

Experience managing treasury functions, including both domestic and foreign payments.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation Details: $50-52/hr based on experience
