Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technician:
- Lead on-site activities by directing, auditing, and supporting technicians and subcontractors.
- Train less experienced technicians, subcontractors, and client teams on installation best practices.
- Perform scheduled installation and service work at customer sites.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams (PMO, Resource Center, Service Center) and handle client escalations.
- Manage administrative tasks, maintain tools/vehicle, and support new project bids with job walks and estimates
Required Skills for Technician:
- Proficiency and knowledge in multiple key accounts
- Ability to operate network certifiers
- Proficient in eight of ten areas of focus: Voice, Data, Fire Alarm, Fiber, Burg Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Signage, Access Points, Networking
- Must have completed some or all certification for: BICSI Installer 2 Copper and BICSI Installer 2 Fiber certification, Bogen, HID Global, Camtek, Panduit, Bosch, CommScope, Axis
