We are partnering with a globally recognized leader in the fundraising and nonprofit space—a mission-driven organization known in virtually every U.S. household. As they continue to innovate in how technology supports their charitable initiatives, they are seeking a .NET Developer / API Engineer to help modernize and enhance their application ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the design and development of scalable software applications, APIs, automations, and configurations that enable impactful fundraising campaigns and critical back-office operations. This is a high-impact opportunity to apply your technical skills in support of a meaningful cause.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, APIs, and automations

  • Modify and enhance existing programs, including complete rewrites as needed

  • Collaborate with users and business analysts to gather requirements and plan enhancements

  • Troubleshoot and analyze system issues to identify effective solutions

  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for systems and processes

  • Write and maintain clean, scalable, and well-tested code in .NET

  • Participate in business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response planning


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

  • 6+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on the .NET framework

  • Proven experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and SOAP services

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database development

  • Experience with agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development cycles

  • CI/CD pipeline experience; Jenkins preferred

  • Solid understanding of system integration and automation best practices


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenShift or other container platforms

  • Familiarity with SSIS and ETL development

  • Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks

  • Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM is a strong plus
