Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Commercial Patient Account Representative II :
– Serve as a key player in the commercial payor hospital collections processes
– Utilize critical thinking skills to research, review, and follow-up on all accounts
– Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, resolving patient, billing, and/or collection issues in a timely manner
– Contribute to departmental enhancements by suggesting improvements to current policies, procedures, and practices
– Ensure correct hospital reimbursement by reviewing billing and collection notes in the financial computer system
– This is a 2-month contract position
– High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree or Medical Field Certificate is highly preferred
Required Skills for Commercial Patient Account Representative II :
– Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Commercial payor hospital collections processes
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
– Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service abilities
– Ability to analyze documentation and resolve issues appropriately and timely
– Experience in Accounts Payable
– Bi-lingual skills and knowledge of medical terminology and coding are preferred

Compensation Details: $35-38/hr W2
