Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Purchasing Accounting Specialist:
– Serve as the frontline of Quickbase, dealing with purchase orders, receiving, inventory, and posting to the ledgers through APIs
– Prepare purchase orders and coordinate receiving activities
– Manage inventory, including item verification, transfers, and cycle counts
– Track labor costs and verify job sheet postings
– Handle accounts payable processes, including coding and submitting invoices
– Manage billing and accounts receivable, including intercompany, internal, and third-party invoicing
– Compile and coordinate financial and operational data across multiple systems
Required Skills for Purchasing Accounting Specialist:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist
– Proficiency in procurement processes and inventory management
– Strong understanding of labor cost tracking and accounts payable processes
– Experience in billing and accounts receivable
– Ability to manage transactional workflows with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Experience in the Construction or Telecom industry is preferred
– Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field is highly preferred, but relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered

Compensation Details: $20-25/hr W2
