Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:

  • The Engineering Center and Engineering Warehouse are seeking someone to develop and document comprehensive operational and safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on OSHA compliance
  • Develop, write, and edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related technical and administrative publications
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of product descriptions
  • Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content
  • Manage updates and revisions to technical literature

Required Skills for Technical Writer:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise text
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation software
