IDR is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join one of our top clients in a 100% remote role. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the implementation of a new SaaS-based care management system, replacing a legacy platform. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Integration Engineer:
– Design, build, and maintain data integrations using flat files and APIs (JSON format)
– Translate technical specifications and data flow diagrams into scalable integration solutions
– Facilitate secure and accurate data exchange into and out of an enterprise data warehouse
– Work with data sets related to eligibility, billing, and reporting
– Support integrations involving SSO, EDI, HL7, and custom formats
– Maintain Databricks workflows and participate in Agile ceremonies
– Collaborate with team members working primarily in the Central Time Zone (CT)
Required Skills for Data Integration Engineer:
– Strong hands-on experience building data integrations (API and flat file based)
– Exposure to healthcare data exchange standards such as EDI and HL7
– Proficiency with Databricks and PySpark workflows
– Familiarity with eligibility and billing data
– Experience working in Azure data environments
– Skilled in Agile/Scrum delivery practices
– Understanding of JSON-based APIs and secure file transfers
