IDR is seeking a remote Payroll Specialist I to join one of our top clients. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist I:

– Full cycle payroll processing
– Responding to employee payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner
– Preparing payroll journal entries
– Reviewing quarterly payroll tax reports
– Year-end processing including W-2 and 1099
– This is a 3-month contract position with a high likelihood of extension
– A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field is required

Required Skills for Payroll Specialist I:

– 1-2 years' experience in payroll processing
– Professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information
– Demonstrated attention to detail
– Familiarity with payroll systems
