Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Engineer II:

– Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to build robust data systems that support multiple game titles
– Design scalable data platforms, ensuring data quality, and delivering insights that drive user experience improvements
– Develop and maintain high-performance ETL pipelines; architect efficient, reliable, and usable data models
– Ensure data governance, security, and compliance
– Report directly to the Manager of the Product Insights Data team and contribute to building title-specific systems, balancing the user experience, and launching data-driven products

Required Skills for Data Engineer II:

– 5+ years of experience as a data/software engineer, including internships and post-bachelor degrees
– Expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and tools like Airflow and DBT
– Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and Databricks
– Experience modeling data in large, complex business environments
– Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
