Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Fraud Risk Analyst:
Seeking a Fraud Risk Analyst to strengthen our client’s fraud risk management program. This resource will play a key part in enhancing the performance of our client’s fraud detection systems by refining alert logic, responding to fraud alerts, and developing new SaaS-based code to reduce false positives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the company’s fraud risk management program (SaaS based).
- Monitor and respond to fraud alerts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize alert logic and reduce false positives.
- Work primarily within SaaS-based fraud detection tools and platforms.
- Assist in refining detection algorithms and code to reduce alert “noise.”
- Identify emerging fraud trends through data analysis and investigative work.
- Develop and present new analyses and reports on fraud patterns and risks.
Required Skills for the Fraud Risk Analyst:
- 3+ years of experience developing and optimizing code within SaaS environments.
- Proven experience in fraud detection and investigation, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
- Background as a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst, with hands-on experience responding to security and fraud-related alerts.
