Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Account Specialist – Tax ID:

Correct and update accounts in the database that are missing TAX ID certificates.

Assist in finalizing a new process for obtaining TAX IDs at the time of setting up a new account.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the compliance department for Tax ID processing.

Make outbound calls and emails to customers to obtain updated TAX ID information.

Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve customer issues and questions.

Attend and engage in department-level meetings and team huddles.
This is a contract position through May 29, 2026, with a hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work in our client’s location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 am to 3:30 pm PST.
Required Skills for Account Specialist – Tax ID:

A minimum education level of an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of customer service and call center experience or account management experience; OR

A Bachelor’s degree; OR
-
4+ years of customer service and call center experience or account management experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and verbal communication skills.
-
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.

Proven ability to manage the customer experience in a professional and courteous manner.
