Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Process Engineer III:

– Supervise installation and start-up of systems
– Act as site engineer, engineering coordinator, and start-up engineer
– Develop new equipment and techniques, including hardware/software evaluation
– Train customers via training sessions, publications, and presentations
– Provide internal training on processes
– Recommend improvements to equipment and processes
– Address technical inquiries from customers and employees
– Produce daily progress reports during startups and field visits
– Write trip reports after customer visits

Required Skills for Process Engineer III:

– Minimum of 6+ years in Process Engineering or Industrial Operations
– Hands-on experience with molten metal processing systems
– Ability to interpret design documents (vendor/SCJ drawings, manuals)
– Strong project management, planning, and scheduling skills
– Ability to learn AutoCAD (experience preferred but not required)
– Highly adaptable to changing project requirements
– Strong communication skills for customer interactions and training
– Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering principles (preferred)
