Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Associate Managing Director:
The Associate Managing Director of Institutional Research will oversee state and federal reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging data analytics to improve efficiency and inform decision-making. Has a grasp and understanding of higher education and state/federal reporting regulations.
Required Skills for Associate Managing Director:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Experience with full reporting process for THECB (Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board). Gathering, checking, and analyzing student, employee, and facilities data to make sure it’s accurate and submitted.
- Experience working with SQL Server and/or Oracle in technical database environments
- Held a supervisor position or has managed people to some capacity
