Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Imaging Service Specialist 3:

Conducts repairs on diagnostic equipment as needed.

Executes routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality.

Manages inventory of parts, supplies, and maintenance records.

Stays informed on the latest advancements and best practices in the field.

Implements cost-effective strategies for maintaining and servicing diagnostic equipment.
Required Skills for Imaging Service Specialist 3:

Five (5) years of expert-level experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high-tech diagnostic equipment, including CT, MRI, Cath labs, IR labs, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Linear Accelerators.

CRES certification is preferred but not required.

Specialized training from manufacturers or third-party providers in high-end diagnostic imaging equipment repair is required.

Knowledge of imaging technology, medical terminology, medical instrumentation, anatomy, and/or physiology service techniques.

Familiarity with current OSHA, NFPA, DNV, TJC, FDA, and other relevant state and federal regulations regarding equipment service and repair.
