Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Patient Services Coordinator:
– Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, handling inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
– Understand and adhere to policies and procedures related to medical patient services, insurance, and billing
– Utilize Epic for data processing and recordkeeping
– Perform basic business arithmetic as required
Required Skills for Patient Services Coordinator:
– Proficiency in Epic
– Bilingual in Spanish and English
– Familiarity with medical terminology
– Experience with standard office practices and procedures, including filing and reception
– Basic understanding of business data processing principles
– Knowledge of basic recordkeeping principles and practices
