IDR is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join one of our top clients in Modesto, CA. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or similar roles who are comfortable handling different types of waste, including biohazardous or sharps waste. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Housekeeper:
– Perform routine and deep cleaning of various facility areas following established schedules and procedures
– Sanitize clinical and non-clinical environments to prevent the spread of infection
– Remove, transport, and dispose of waste safely and in accordance with procedures
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage closets, and equipment rooms
– Distribute supplies and maintain inventory levels throughout the facility
Required Skills for Housekeeper:
– High School Diploma or GED required
– Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
– Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation methods, and infection prevention techniques
– Ability to operate standard environmental service equipment
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
