IDR is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Service Desk Lead to join one of our top clients in Thorton, CO. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of the service desk team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical support services to end-users. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Service Desk Lead :
– Oversee daily operations of the service desk team
– Act as a key liaison between IT staff and business units
– Provide leadership, coordination, and support to resolve issues efficiently
– Ensure consistent service delivery
– This is a 6-month contract position
– An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required
Required Skills for IT Service Desk Lead :
– 3+ years of experience in an IT support or service desk environment
– At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
– Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac/Chrome OS, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting
– Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
– Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, HaloITSM, Zendesk, etc.)
