Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Healthcare Staffing Coordinator:

– Coordinating daily and long-term staffing and scheduling needs
– Ensuring efficient resource allocation and resolving staffing challenges promptly
– Maintaining timekeeping records and managing databases
– Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments within the electronic health record (EHR) system
– Ensuring compliance with department policies and regulatory standards

Required Skills for Healthcare Staffing Coordinator:

– 1+ year in a Unit Secretary or similar role, with exposure to staffing and timekeeping practices
– Strong analytical skills for managing staffing systems
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Epic, and related systems
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Ability to interpret various data formats (written, oral, diagram, schedule)
