Jira Dashboard Developer
- Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 6 months though rarely exercises this right)
- Location: Local to Sacramento, CA (preferred) or Remote, but must be sitting on the West Coast
- C2C Pay Rate: $90.00
Responsibilities:

Design and develop dashboards in a Jira sandbox environment based on high-level business requirements.

Collaborate with the IT Jira administrator team to implement dashboards in the production environment.

Provide strategic guidance on Jira’s capabilities and limitations from a reporting and data visualization perspective.

Serve as a creative problem solver—understanding the “why” behind client requests and offering innovative solutions.

Integrate data from Jira, Power BI, and Excel into cohesive dashboard and portfolio reporting tools.

Develop job aids, documentation, and provide training as needed to support dashboard adoption and usage.
Requirements:

Expert-level knowledge of Jira, particularly in dashboarding and reporting capabilities.

Strong understanding of Jira’s architecture, including what is and isn’t possible within the platform.

Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex reporting problems.

Experience integrating Jira data with tools such as Power BI and Excel.

Product and technical mindset with a consultative approach to understanding stakeholder goals.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical admin teams and business stakeholders.
