IDR is seeking a dedicated and proactive Programmer Analyst to join one of our esteemed clients in Lubbock, TX. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about writing code, testing programs, and analyzing how they work!
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Programmer Analyst:
The Programmer Analyst is responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining software to meet business needs. This involves writing code, testing programs, and analyzing how they work. The role also includes researching, designing, and updating software throughout its use. They help analyze systems, create queries, and make sure different internal systems work together.
Required Skills for Programmer Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area OR a combination of related education and/or experience.
- Completes application modifications to enhance functionality, adapt to technology changes, and to correct application errors.
- Experience with programming languages such as: Groovy, JavaScript, for translating applications
- Experience with Frameworks such as: AngularJS, .NET
- Experience working with APIs for data access instead of direct database queries
- Experience with applications supporting Finance systems (ex: Ellucian Banner)
