Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Data Architect:

Drive cross-domain technology plans to align with enterprise goals, business plans, and business processes.

Develop architectural designs and review technical specification documents created by development teams.

Evaluate emerging technology for use across multiple domains.

Provide cross-domain technical oversight and mentor functional architects.

Coordinate technical and functional architectures to develop project plans encompassing all technical tasks that meet enterprise and business schedules.
Required Skills for Data Architect:

12+ years of Information Technology experience, with at least 2 years in architecture for larger organizations.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Superior knowledge of enterprise architecture standards and processes.

Advanced level knowledge of technology architecture domains: application development, data integration, API design, networks, cloud architecture, security and systems management, and site reliability engineering.

Advanced collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and work with a distributed team.
