This is a contract to hire, hybrid position in Atlanta, GA.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Epic Application Coordinator – Professional Billing:
- Provide technical expertise in the Epic Professional Billing application
- Design and implement workflows within the Epic system, translating clinical and financial requirements into effective system configurations
- Troubleshoot and provide high-level support for the Epic system
- Collaborate with various teams, including IT and clinical staff, on new system implementations
- Maintain current Epic certification and stay informed about changes in Epic and healthcare IT
Required Skills for Epic Application Coordinator – Professional Billing:
- Solid experience with Epic systems, particularly in the clinical or revenue cycle areas
- Proven ability to design and implement workflows within the Epic system
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in handling tough situations, particularly when on-call
- Experience working with various teams, including IT and clinical staff
- Current Epic certification and a commitment to continuous learning
