Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Architect :

Develop and review standards, solutions, and technical architecture across all architecture layers (Infrastructure, Application, and Data)

Translate business/technical problems into strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan
-
Lead the implementation of multiple cloud environments and transform legacy software implementations to modular cloud services

Develop strategy for cloud technology solutions and implementation roadmap
-
Engage and manage stakeholders for the purposes of gathering feedback and offering guidance

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with various teams in collaborative problem-solving efforts
Required Skills for Technical Architect:
-
10+ years as Lead Technical Architect or similar role, with demonstrable experience in Cloud environment design

Expertise in designing and implementing to cloud native services, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
-
Familiarity with healthcare industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10, HL7, FHIR)

Experience transforming at least 1 complex legacy technology solution from on-prem to a modular cloud solution with a commercial cloud provider

Ability to understand the strategy and roadmap, help IS leadership with proposing an implementation plan and also appraise them of the challenges to be aware of
