IDR is seeking a Senior Accountant (Fixed Assets) to join one of our top clients in Brentwood, TN. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely accounting for fixed assets related to capital improvements and new store projects. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant (Fixed Assets):

– Develop and implement sustainable policies and procedures for accounting for fixed assets related to self-development of new stores and capital improvement projects.

– Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, real estate, and construction teams on capital expenditures for self-development stores and other projects.

– Support the training and development of other fixed asset team members.

– Perform review of fixed asset related month-end journal entries prepared by Staff Accountants.

– Ensure proper assignment of in-service date, depreciable life, cost center, and description for new assets based on Company policy.

Required Skills for Senior Accountant (Fixed Assets):

– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.

– Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, and Blackline is a plus but not required; knowledge of SAP enterprise software preferred.

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

– CPA certification preferred.

– Ability to work independently, positively handle conflict, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
