IDR is seeking a Senior Functional Tester to join one of our top clients for a an opportunity in Sacramento, CA. The project prefers this resource sits locally, or at least in California. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain test plans and strategies for software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Conduct functional and API testing for Integrated Eligibility systems, focusing on the Worker Portal.
- Utilize ODM (Operational Decision Manager) to implement business rules and decision management test solutions.
- Execute rigorous performance, quality, and regression testing to ensure system stability.
- Develop and run automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Use AWS cloud services to manage and scale test environments.
- Work with Oracle databases to design and optimize test data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Manage test cycles, defect resolution, and status reporting.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior testers, and contribute to test process improvements.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Integrated Eligibility systems, preferably on the client’s system (CalSAWS.) Any IE system is fine.
- Exposure to Worker Portal, driver frameworks, session management, and API integration.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, AWS Cloud Services, and Oracle databases.
- Experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
