Position Overview:
We are seeking a Network Surveillance Engineer to join a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This is a fully onsite, contract-based position.
Position Overview for the Network Surveillance Engineer:

  • Monitor and manage Network & Transport equipment, ensuring end-to-end system observability.
  • Manage incident identification, ticket logging, and impact assessment using Service Now.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting for 5G cell site issues, escalating to Tier II when necessary.
  • Support site monitoring and health checks after maintenance activities (CR’s).
  • Oversee incident management processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams (FIM, Engineering, RF, Deployment, etc.) to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure National Level Availability remains above 99.50% and manage outages according to SLA.

Required Skills for the Network Surveillance Engineer:

  • 3-5 years of telecom/wireless experience, with a focus on NOC environments and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of 5G functional components (Core, RAN, Transport, etc.) and related network protocols (IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, BFD, etc.).
  • Experience working in shift environments and handling high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in incident management, ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now), and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Details:
$52/hr
