Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Financial Accountant:
 

• Provide timely and accurate consolidated financial information for internal reporting following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Develop and maintain adequate internal control policies and procedures

• Provide extensive business and analytical/financial support to management

• Conduct site audits that require 20 days of travel in the year

• Assist with the annual budgeting process by working with leadership to prepare their budgets for the coming year

• Perform financial analysis, including pro forma analyses

• Participate in the monthly business review (MBR) process

• Conduct ongoing internal control compliance audits

Required Skills for Senior Financial Accountant:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or internal control-related fields

• Experience with US GAAP analysis

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently

• Self-directed, with a natural curiosity around business results and understanding the why behind the numbers

• Excellent computer skills with mastery in Excel

• Critical analytical thinking skills

• Ability to collaborate and partner with all levels of the organization
