Our top client in the Fort Worth area is looking for a skilled Monitoring Engineer to monitor, alert, and support systems for seamless operations. If you have experience with Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or similar tools, and a strong grasp of cloud architecture and DevOps, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident & System Management: Resolve critical IT and Telecom service disruptions, ensuring system availability through incident and change management.
  • System Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor systems for faults, optimize performance, and improve monitoring and alerting processes.
  • Incident Response & Analysis: Support major incident response teams and assist in root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Zabbix, SCOM).
  • Strong experience with DevOps application performance tuning and distributed systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, VMWare).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Node.js, Bash, etc.) and documentation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices (ITIL V3 or V4 certification a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and provide on-call support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to improve monitoring and alerting processes.

Top Skills:

  • Engineering-level experience with APM tools like Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Data Dog, Grafana, or Splunk.
  • Comfortable working onsite 4 days a week with after-hours support.
