IDR is seeking a 100% Remote Senior Data Engineer to join one of our top clients in Las Vegas. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a dynamic engineering team, delivering data warehouse, ETL, reporting solutions, and transactional database support.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr Data Engineer :

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, maintainable data architecture and high-quality data models
-
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
-
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and/or business requirements
-
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
-
Participate in the Agile development process by contributing to daily standups, release planning, demos, and retrospectives
Required Skills for Sr Data Engineer :
-
5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
-
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
-
Proficiency in creating SQL database objects and performance tuning SQL queries
-
Proficiency with Data Modeling, OLAP, SQL, and ETL
-
Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
-
Strong teaming skills, professional attitude, enthusiastic, collaborative, and approachable
