IDR is seeking a Software Implementation Project Manager to join one of our top clients in Nashville for a long-term contract opportunity. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Software Implementation Project Manager:

  • Manage comprehensive implementation plans developed internally or by partner vendors, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project scope, identifying and addressing potential changes through effective change management practices.
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines and budget, taking corrective action when necessary
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients to discuss project progress
  • Understand client business needs and translate them into effective software configurations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address technical challenges
  • Oversee data migration and configuration processes to align with client requirements
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional implementation team, including developers, consultants, and support personnel.

 

Required Skills for the Software Implementation Project Manager:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in managing software implementation projects from initiation to completion
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and technical teams
  • General technical knowledge needed for software implementation
  • Knowledge and experience in change management processes
