IDR is excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join our esteemed client's team in Huntsville, AL. This role is perfect for a seasoned IT professional with a strong background in Windows systems administration, looking to leverage their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Windows Systems Administrator:

– Implementing DoD STiGs and SRGs on Windows platforms
– Patching Windows using both manual and automated processes
– Installing Windows, Windows Server, and Server Services such as SQL Server or SharePoint
– Managing Active Directory, DNS, User Accounts, Multi-Factor Authentication, System Accounts, and Certificate Services
– Researching and validating Nessus scan results and addressing vulnerabilities
– This is a direct hire position

Required Skills for Senior Windows Systems Administrator:

– 12+ years of experience in IT systems administration
– Experience with Windows Server implementation in the Cloud, Cloud On-Premise, and On-Premise
– Experience with Active Directory implementation in the Cloud, Cloud On-Premise, and On-Premise
– Active Directory integration of non-windows devices/servers
– AWS Cloud experience
– Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certification, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate Certification, Windows Server Administration, including MCSE or MCSA certification, CompTIA Server+ Certification
– Top Secret clearance
