Construction Inspector

Position Overview for the Construction Inspector:
- Review and assess construction schedules for conflicts, delays, and potential issues
- Provide technical interpretation of construction drawings and specifications, assisting the resident engineer in clarifying requirements and coordinating responses
- Lead the evaluation of change requests, claims, and cost proposals
- Monitor site conditions and document observations to ensure quality assurance across all project aspects.
- Manage project documentation and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of issues, change orders, and contractor records
Required Skills for the Construction Inspector:
- Associate’s degree in a construction-related discipline or craft apprenticeship preferred
- Certifications for concrete, compaction and civil tests preferred
- Inspection certification preferred
- 10+ minimum years of professional work experience in the field
