Position Overview for the Systems Engineer III:  

  • MBSE Implementation and Architecture Development: Lead the application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to define system functions, develop performance requirements, and create architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and SysML in Cameo Enterprise Architect.

  • Systems Analysis and Comparative Assessments: Conduct trade studies and performance assessments of system and architecture alternatives to guide customer investment decisions and optimize military systems and system-of-systems architectures.

  • Business Architecture and Compliance Management: Develop business architecture models aligned with organizational strategies and goals, ensuring compliance with data storage, metadata management, and change control processes.

  • Employee Development and Organizational Efficiency: Organize and deliver training sessions to enhance employee skills, while offering technical guidance to improve overall business processes, reduce IT costs, and support the organization's long-term goals.

Required Skills for the Systems Engineer III:  

  • Advanced MBSE and Systems Engineering Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and enterprise architecture, using Cameo Enterprise Architect, with a solid understanding of DoDAF and SysML frameworks.

  • Proficiency with Modeling and Simulation Tools: Strong experience in using modeling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, STK, AFSIM, or Rational Rhapsody for systems analysis, architecture design, and performance modeling.

  • Project Management and Leadership Skills: Excellent project management, technical, and analytical skills with proven leadership capabilities to guide teams, streamline processes, and ensure the successful implementation of system engineering solutions.

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance: Must hold an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance, as this position requires working on classified projects. TS-only clearance will not meet the security requirements.

Compensation Details:$120,000/year to $150,000/year W2. NOT OPEN TO C2C.
