DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer
*W2 only*
Position Overview:
Our client in the railway industry is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace or CloudWatch. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of rail systems, managing incidents, and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Resolve IT and Telecom service interruptions specific to railway operations and maintain system availability.
- System Monitoring: Enhance monitoring tools and processes to improve the performance of railway systems.
- Incident Response: Handle escalations and provide monitoring support during major incidents affecting rail infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in event monitoring, DevOps, or IT incident management, preferably in a transport or infrastructure context.
- Skills: Proficient with Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or similar tools; scripting (Python, Bash); distributed systems (Windows, Unix, Linux).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Certifications: ITIL, cloud certifications (AWS, Azure), and experience with infrastructure as code tools are a plus.
