Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting:
– Manage and review annual income tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
– Oversee quarterly and annual income tax estimates and extensions process.
– Monitor transfer pricing policies and related documentation.
– Assist in tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic tax planning initiatives.
– Interpret tax statutes and regulations, monitor legislative activity, advise management on relevant changes, and identify opportunities to minimize tax.
Required Skills for Senior Manager, Tax Accounting:
– Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 10+ years related income tax experience in public accounting or large multi-national public company tax department.
– 3+ years serving in a supervisory/management capacity of at least 3 associates and projects.
– Substantial understanding of GAAP including ASC 740 and ASC 805.
– Experience in Microsoft Office and tax compliance software.
– Ability to analyze highly complex tax issues, related facts & circumstances and recommend solutions.
