Senior Release Analyst

This position is fully remote! Must be comfortable working on PST business hours. 
Position Overview for the Senior Release Analyst:

  • Develop, analyze, and oversee application deployment and infrastructure maintenance plans.
  • Identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Supervise progress towards implementation plans and devise backout strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate application and infrastructure changes across pre and production environments using deployment automation tools. 

Required Skills for the Senior Release Analyst:
  • 5-10 years of experience either managing or supporting applications/platforms/services deployments, infrastructure upgrades and security patching.
  • Expertise in Jira, Jenkins, Git, and deployment automation tools (Chef, Rundeck, and CloudBees Pipeline)
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and run team meetings
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle SDLC, both traditional and agile
