Maintenance and Operations Application Lead

Position Overview for the Maintenance and Operations Application Lead: 

  • Supervise a team of developers in the creation, testing, and upkeep of applications.
  • Compile meeting materials and facilitated client workgroup meetings, overseen by a manager/Senior Manager.
  • Orchestrate the activities of a technical team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior developers through coaching and mentoring.
  • Effectively communicate project updates, challenges, and resolutions to various stakeholders through written and verbal channels.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency and suggested strategies for process enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Recognize opportunities for leveraging existing solutions and advocated for the adoption of efficient, established methodologies.
Required Skills for the Maintenance and Operations Application Lead:
  • More than five years of expertise as a Mainframe Developer
  • Over two years of direct experience as a team manager
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Java and Mainframe Platforms including COBOL, JCL, and DB2, with over five years of focused Mainframe development experience
  • Skilled in team leadership and management, capable of guiding both technical and functional resources, with over two years of demonstrated experience
