Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Process Improvement Manager:
1. Serve as a conduit and key point of contact coordinating all process improvement activities. 
2. Develop a value stream map of the IT governance process including value and non-value add activities.
3. Collect and visualize value stream mapped data on the existing IT governance process. 
4. Develop a scorecard comprised of strategic portfolio management performance metrics.
5. Develop Executive presentations illustrating proposals status amid improvement efforts.
6. Use LEAN techniques to define and document the problem(s), measure the scope of the problem(s), analyze the issues associated with the problem(s), design improvement activities designed to address the root of the problem(s), and recommend long-term control activities the organization should implement.

Required Skills for the Process Improvement Manager:

  • 8+ years’ experience with the entire Microsoft office suite including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • 8+ years experience applying value stream mapping expertise or process mapping expertise to document value add activities.
  • 8+ years’ experience deploying data gathering and data analysis techniques to collect and analyze key data.
