IDR is actively seeking several Smart Card Technical Consultant to join one of our largest Augmented Identity providers in the Greater Washington, DC area for an urgent need! Position Overview for the Smart Card Technical Consultant:

  • Implement and document new and upgraded smartcard configurations to satisfy customer requirements, technical standards,

  • Investigate and fix problems raised by Exton manufacturing, and Chantilly personalization.

  • Write tools to explore, verify and generate smartcard data models.

Required Skills for the Smart Card Technical Consultant: 

  • 5+ years of professional smart card technical experience experience, government preferred

  • 5+ years experience with PCOM

  • 5+ years experience with cryptographic libraries (CryptoAPI Next Generation, OpenSSL) 

  • troubleshooting technical issues related to Exton manufacturing, and Chantilly personalization 

  • Must be familiar with cryptography (PKI, X509 AES, RSA, ECC, SHA-256, EC Diffie-Helman key exchange, PKI)

  • Knowledge and understanding of smart card manufacture

  • Local to the Washington, DC area
