Responsibilities for Technical Support Specialist:

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries concerning computer software or hardware operation, addressing problems of varying complexity.
  • Conduct remote installations of software and perform hardware testing to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Execute commands and monitor system performance to ensure correct operations and identify and rectify errors.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily data communication transactions, troubleshooting activities, and installation tasks.
  • Utilize technical manuals, engage with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve issues, providing comprehensive technical assistance and support.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training is required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.
