Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle Services

Position Overview for the Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle Services :

  • Assists in planning, organization, and process improvement for billing.
  • Monitors key performance indicators of billing operations, makes recommendations and proposes tasks and action items based on analysis.
  • Analyzes billing processes to increase clean claim rates and reduce denials by implementing up front improvements.
  • Reviews policies and procedures and recommends annual updates. 

Required Skills for the Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle Services :

  • Ten years Billing and Revenue Cycle Services experience; at least five years of which are with Ambulatory Surgery Centers
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. 
  • A minimum of five years management experience is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of ambulatory surgery reimbursement and use of effective billing and collections tools required.
  • AAPC Certification CPC or CUC
