Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Propulsion Engineer:
- Develop and procure propellant tanks and fluid system components for storable propellants
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop ConOps for the end to end satellite refueling process, including propulsion system performance for proximity operations, the effects of slosh, and fuel transfer operations procedures
- Lead technical reviews and effectively communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise with involvement in the design, development, assembly, and testing of spacecraft or rocket valves, fluid/ propulsion systems and/or components.
- Competence in reading and generating plumbing and instrumentation diagram (P&IDs)
- Familiarity with qualification, acceptance, and proto-qualification testing processes.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, undertaking tasks independently.
- Proficient experience in working with storable chemical propellant systems or components.
