Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Test Engineer:
- Authoring, overseeing, and upkeeping test documentation and hardware for precision assemblies.
- Taking responsibility for and managing documentation related to intricate, high reliability assemblies
- Interpreting system diagrams and requirements to define testing parameters
- Planning, designing, executing, and conducting preventive maintenance for essential Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems.
- Experience in an engineering or precision mechanical assembly setting
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and executing test instructions in accordance with specific requirement
- Capable of comprehending and developing test plans while ensuring adherence to requirements traceability
- Skilled in testing spaces qualified hardware through qualification and acceptance test environments, including hands on operation of TVAC and thermal chambers
- Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and effective communication abilities.
