Position Overview for the Patient Registrar:
- Patient Customer Care and Customer Service Skills
- Verification of patient information and insurance details
- Appointment scheduling and record maintenance
- Adherence to privacy regulations and confidentiality
- Problem-solving and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals
Required Skills for the Patient Registrar:
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish
- Data entry and accuracy in record-keeping
- Attention to detail and ability to verify information
- Appointment scheduling and organization
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA)
