Construction Accountant

Position Overview for the Construction Accountant:
· Oversee daily construction accounting for a portfolio of properties going through renovation.
· Assist with full cycle month and year-end close including income statement review and reconciliation of balance sheet.
· Prepare journal entries and assist with the review of annual budget.
· Review construction budget and analyze any variances against budget and former month costs.
· Help oversee cash management and reconciliations.
Required Skills for the Construction Accountant:
· 3+ years of professional experience in construction accounting – Financial and General Ledger Accounting, and Cost accounting.
· Strong experience with MS Office and TIMBERLINE.
· Bachelor or Master’s Degree is preferred!
