Commercial Lien Specialist

Responsibilities for the Commercial Lien Specialist:

The Lien Specialist is responsible for ensuring all requested lien releases and lien filings are timely entered into the NCS system. Primary function include: prelien notices for states that require it, file liens on jobs, bond claims, and lien releases. It is important that the Lien Specialist have a construction-industry background, understand how liens work, and knows the difference between states. 

This position also performs administrative duties such as ordering department supplies, reviewing/distributing daily mail and any other administrative duties that may be assigned. This position can be high-volume and fast paced. This position will report to the Commercial Credit Services Supervisor.
 

Required Skills for the Commercial Lien Specialist:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Construction industry experience 
• Professional experience with the following tools
  • Get Paid
  • NCS (3rd party Lien)
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience in Account Receivable roles
