One of IDR's top governmental clients is looking for a Video Surveillance Technician to join their team in Amarillo, TX.
This position is a 10+ month contract, and will be 100% onsite in Amarillo, Texas and occasional travel to Huntsville, Texas.
Position Overview for the Video Surveillance Technician:
The video surveillance technician will install, maintain, and repair video surveillance component equipment. Video surveillance equipment may also include cameras, switches, servers, wireless nano-beams, video, personal computers and the configuration and repair of the video surveillance system.
This position performs labor using hand tools and drills, climbs stairs, ladders, and other inclines and works from heights to include rooftops, ledges, bucket trucks, scaffolding and extension ladders, crawls under, around or over objects. They also work in confined areas such as crawlspaces, attics, manholes and other similar spaces
Required Skills for the Video Surveillance Technician:
- Professional experience with Networking, PC Networking, and PC Lan/WAN environment.
- Associates Degree or higher
