Responsibilities for the Software Engineer:
- Implement code updates for web accessibility compliance, following WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
- Conduct accessibility assessments, review code, and integrate testing tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and use JIRA for issue tracking.
- Ensure JBOSS server accessibility and maintain documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in web accessibility practices within an Agile framework.
Requirements for the Software Engineer:
- Minimum of 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in web accessibility remediation, with a thorough knowledge of WCAG 2.1 guidelines and accessibility best practices.
- Strong skills in Java/Spring, JSP, HTML, CSS, and STRUTS. Familiarity with Angular and Bootstrap is a plus. Experience working with JBOSS servers is required.
- Familiarity with web accessibility testing tools to identify and address accessibility issues.
- Strong experience with issue and project tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies.
- Certification in Web Accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) and experience or familiarity with Angular and Bootstrap.

Compensation: $48 - $50/hr
