IDR is seeking a QA Analyst III to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting testing activities for systems used in eligibility determinations and benefit processing within a dynamic technology environment. The organization is a leader in providing government-related services focused on health and social assistance systems.
Position Overview for the QA Analyst III:
- Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, and test cases aligned with project requirements and release timelines.
- Perform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Document, track, and manage defects through resolution, collaborating closely with development and business teams.
- Conduct post-deployment testing to validate system stability and release quality.
- Implement and leverage AI-powered testing tools to generate test cases, automate regression testing, support self-healing scripts, and identify potential defects.
- Perform accessibility testing against ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards using automated tools and manual testing methods.
- Validate screen reader compatibility and keyboard navigation, document accessibility issues, and verify remediation.
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly testing status reports, defect trend analyses, and release readiness assessments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Support the quality and reliability of systems used for benefit processing and eligibility determinations.
Requirements for the QA Analyst III:
- 3–5 years of software testing experience in complex systems environments.
- Experience with manual and automated testing including functional, regression, and UAT.
- Demonstrated experience with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility testing.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools.
- Familiarity with accessibility tools such as Axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
