IDR is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves supporting enterprise software development, security, and delivery platforms within a leading organization in the technology industry. The engineer will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with various teams to enhance security, automation, and operational practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Position Overview for the DevSecOps Engineer:

• Support the administration, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise DevSecOps platforms.
• Act as a subject matter expert in integrating security, automation, and operational best practices into the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.

Requirements for the DevSecOps Engineer:

• Experience administering and supporting AWS and/or Azure cloud environments, including cloud infrastructure, security, networking, automation, IaC, container platforms, and CI/CD integrations.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and best practices.
• Proven ability to develop, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Experience with application security testing tools such as Veracode and SonarQube.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
